The prices are shocking.
Considering all the items filling their racks are donated, these prices are an insult to the community. I casually asked an employee if the prices had increased recently and she mechanically spouted off that items are priced according to brand, quality and something else… clearly she forgot to mention greed.
Does the management not realize that it’s the very community that enables their store to exist? I won’t be donating here.

Unprofessional. My mother and grandmother went in on June 1 ~4PM and they had a ring in the showcase priced as if it were gold at $199. Upon further inspection, the ring was clearly stamped as sterling silver. A simple Google reverse image search also showed the exact ring brand new for $105. After helpful service from the lovely young girls at the front, they grabbed the manager to correct the pricing issue. The manager on duty at that time (dark greying hair in a ponytail, short, stout older woman) approached my mom and grandma and rather than listening and investigating further, she refused to even glance at the stamp on the ring or the exact ad on my moms phone. She had absolutely no customer service skills nor common decency. And even after my mom and grandma offered to purchase it for the original price on the ad, she denied them service, insisting it was priced properly. (As a former thrift pricer, this is so unprofessional and against standard) Terrible experience. Truly rude manager, and clearly doesn’t have the skill, patience or understanding to be in that position. Thank you to the helpful young ladies at the front. Do better, management.

UPDATE: Thank you for listening and getting rid of the sticker system for the books you sell.
I have added a couple of new photos with paperbacks that I just bought today without the stickers. They are pristine and I'm very happy with them. You've restored my faith in thrift shopping at your store. Thanks!
ORIGINAL POST: Talize! Please stop using those crappy stickers on the books!! I bought some paperbacks at your store from the 1960s that were in really good shape and trying to take the stickers off (carefully, in various ways) it destroyed the book!! I have more books to try to remove the stickers from, but am afraid now that I'll destroy the rest of them! Try to find another, better alternative!
Edit: I've been buying books for years and removing stickers without a problem with the exception of the books I buy at your store.

What can I say about a used store that gets all there items free but carry heavy pricing tags? I’ll add some examples in my photos.
Let’s dissect a few things.
The staff! Friendly and helpful from what I’ve gathered the day I was there shopping. Helpful in the change rooms and easy to approach.
The selections of clothing and items aren’t too bad. The store is tidy and well stocked. Easy to look through as it’s sorted my sections of men’s, women and children ect. Sizes and colours and so forth. This is very helpful when approaching a store of this size, one can get overwhelmed.
However the negative for me would be the price for many items in there. Some things you can get at a normal store cheaper and it would be in new condition.
I saw a dress for $59.99 and jeans for $39.99
How is this possible for a place that receives free things to mark up that high? I understand it takes money to pay bills and pay staff ect. So they need to make money. However that’s pure greed. I’ve donated so many things there and I’ve seen by the truck loads of items come in while am there.
If only they could keep cost lower. I don’t see why not If the regular stores sell cheaper than you on most stuff and they don’t get there stuff donated for free. Why can’t you?
I don’t shop there to often after seeing the prices changes lately to more higher.
Hope you will try to keep cost down like the big box stores. As there’s people
Who really rely on used stores to get items cheaper because they can’t afford regular store.
So if you sell like regular store or higher than them. Where do that leave for our community who supports you ?

The prices are crazy on some things and fine on others but what’s annoying is the cash out system.
Was in line for a till for 10 minutes and one of the workers moved me to one that had a longer line, when I said there’s more people in that one she moved me AGAIN to a different line but by this time the till I was waiting for had cleared out and I could’ve been finished. Definitely would not return to this location when Plato’s closet is so close by.
