Vincent M. Was great! He came the day of the winter storm Jan 25 with his assistant and installed our furnace so that we would have heat. He wasn’t able to complete the whole job because of the weather but I was grateful just to have heat. He said they would schedule a date to finish the installation and that we were not signing off until the job was fully completed. They were courteous and tidy. Used mats on the floor so not to track the snow. Definitely would recommend Boonstra and Vincent!

Thomas R came to do our Annual check on the furnace. He was informative, left no mess and was great to talk to. He arranged an estimate for some other work I wanted and was great with our large, overly friendly dog. Great customer service all around!!

We wanted to switch from our oil furnace to something new, we decided to go to a full electric heat pump and Jay, our sales rep was amazing and so were the technicians who did the install. Here’s where things started to get wonky, we needed to upgrade our electrical panel to accommodate the heat pump, our plan was to upgrade to a 200 amp panel but we were already maxed out coming into our house. Since we found this out we have had a huge run around and still have had no resolve. We have asked for a new 100 amp panel instead or for our money back and neither have happened. We are having a hard time getting any response from Boonstra and we are currently down a plug in our kitchen due to the electrical work that was done and they also haven’t come back to fix that issue. Overall great heat pump, but extremely disappointed with the customer service.

It was the first cold day of Autumn and, of course, our furnace wouldn’t start. My daughter highly recommended Boonstra, who had done a full HVAC install at her older home. Our call was handled promptly and efficiently. While not an emergency, Boonstra had a tech out that evening. Kevin, the service tech, was great. Our problem was a bit of a mystery and Kevin chased down and tested every possibility. Another tech might have switched out an expensive gas inlet valve. Kevin found a fault in a small pressure switch and fixed it on the spot. He filed copious notes in case it occurs again. The cost was only the basic service/diagnostic fee - very reasonable ! I have no hesitation in recommending Boonstra Heating & Cooling.

Tyler was amazing! He not only kept me informed every step of the way, but was also super friendly with my very large breed dogs, putting them completely at ease. This was the best customer experience I’ve ever had with anyone coming into my home — and on a Sunday night, too! I highly recommend Boonstra and will definitely be reaching out to them for all my future heating and cooling maintenance and repairs.
