It was the first cold day of Autumn and, of course, our furnace wouldn’t start. My daughter highly recommended Boonstra, who had done a full HVAC install at her older home. Our call was handled promptly and efficiently. While not an emergency, Boonstra had a tech out that evening. Kevin, the service tech, was great. Our problem was a bit of a mystery and Kevin chased down and tested every possibility. Another tech might have switched out an expensive gas inlet valve. Kevin found a fault in a small pressure switch and fixed it on the spot. He filed copious notes in case it occurs again. The cost was only the basic service/diagnostic fee - very reasonable ! I have no hesitation in recommending Boonstra Heating & Cooling.

The Boonstra technician arrived in a timely manner. He was efficient and completed the service of my furnace during the estimated time and provided a verbal report of the status of my furnace. I asked him to change the filter on the humidifier and turn it on for the winter season. I was appreciative of him having a filter on hand in his truck which meant only one visit which saves the technician time as well as the customer’s.In summary, a professional service.

Recently had our AC unit completely call
It quits in the dead of summer. Called some
Other Burlington company, that to my surprise said they couldn’t help us with anything till at least mid July. Bit of a shock as I know them personally. I immediately gave Boonstra a call and had Tom there the next day to quote us a brand new system. His communication back and forth with us was great, informative and helpful.
Couple days later we had Charles and Sam in our home to complete the work. These guys were great. Very kind to the family. Worked tirelessly to complete the job while the house got up to 32 degrees inside. Their communication with us was great. They would let us know what they needed to do and how long it would take. Couldn’t have been happier with them both.
From start to finish we have been very satisfied with Boonstra. Would highly recommend.

The technician Jimmy was excellent - I was really impressed with how thorough he was, and how patient he was in explaining everything to me. I bought my condo with a heat pump that had been installed by the previous owners, so I didn't know anything about it. He fixed the problem and even tidied up after himself. I feel much more at ease now. :)

Excellent start to my engagement with Boonstra. We needed to assess a concern to see if it was deeper than expected, and they sent Jimmy L. Jimmy was excellent - he took his time, was thorough with his inspection, provided great service and care with the questions we had for him.
In the form to request services, I indicated that I was interested in the maintenance plan. There was a bit of a hiccup at the point of sale with Jimmy. Bonnie from the office called me after I followed up through the form three days later, and similar to the care provided by Jimmy, Bonnie was excellent navigating through the challenge, helping to resolve my issue. If most staff at Boonstra are like the two folks I had the pleasure of engaging with, I’m looking forward to working together with Boonstra through the future.
